Mentoring Program

About Mentoring Program

The success of the mentoring program would not have been achieved without the active participation of mentors and mentees from Korean communities in the Chicagoland area and with the strong interest and support of KSEA HQ each year. Aligning with KSEA's vision to promote the application of science and technology for the general welfare of society, and to help Korean-American Scientists and Engineers develop their full career potential. KSEA Chicagoland mentoring program is the perfect fit for high school students who are eager to gain better knowledge in the STEM field. Most high school programs lack sufficient information about careers in science, technology, and engineering.

KSEA Chicagoland's mentoring program is an exceptional opportunity for the next generation of Korean-American students to receive invaluable guidance from established professionals in academia and industry. This mentoring program is dedicated to nurturing the capabilities of students to reach their full potential in their future careers.

Program Goal

KSEA Chicagoland aims to guide high school students in discovering their ideal career paths by providing a comprehensive understanding of STEM fields and their practical applications in the real world.

Through a half-year-long project spanning from December 2023 to June 2024, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in tackling real-world problems with expert guidance.
