The KSEA Chicagoland Mentoring Program has achieved success thanks to the active participation of mentors and mentees from Korean communities in the Chicagoland area, and with the help of strong interest and support from KSEA HQ. The program's vision aligns with KSEA's, which promotes the application of science and technology for the general welfare of society and helps Korean American Scientists and Engineers develop their career to their best potential.
The Mentoring Program is the perfect fit for high school students who are eager to gain knowledge in STEM fields. The program can supplement many high school programs that lack sufficient information about careers in science, technology, and engineering.
The Program is an exceptional opportunity for the next generation of Korean American students to receive invaluable guidance from established professionals in academia and industry. Students will be able to reach their full potential in their future careers through the Program that is dedicated to nurturing their capabilities.
KSEA Chicagoland aims to guide high school students in discovering their ideal career paths by providing a comprehensive understanding of STEM fields and their practical applications in the real world.
Through a half-year-long project spanning from December to June, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in tackling real-world problems with expert guidance.
